Paul Galiszewski has been a drummer/percussionist since the age of 6.  He began his musical training in elementary school by joining the school concert band and continued throughout the rest of his school career up through high school graduation.  During high school, Paul began to focus on his future career with much more training by increasing his study to include, Music Theory, Concert Band, Jazz, Band, and Marching Band.  Paul was fortunate to be included in an extremely talented group of drummers with his high school marching band drum line, earning his school the top drum line in all competitions they performed throughout his entire high school career. At this time, Paul also enlisted a private drum instructor, where he studied rudiment training, drum set, percussion, and Marimbas and a primary focus on Jazz with Brian Yaturo.  Upon graduation, Paul enrolled in college as a communications major and a minor in music.  At this time he also become the co-founding member of the New Jersey rock band, China White, which they had performed all throughout the East Coast and recorded two albums with the Apex Records label.  The band went on to tour with numerous national acts and local acts.  During this time the Cappella Drumstick Company had endorsed him as part of their endorsee artist’s roster. Although Paul was having success as a professional drummer, he wanted to get back to his craft and enrolled with renowned drummer, Pat Petrillo for additional private instruction.

Today, Paul is still with Vic Firth, teaches drum lessons, performs with several local artists, and is currently touring and recording as the drummer for international pop artist, Josh Zuckerman, as seen on VH1 and MTV.

While with Pat, Paul expanded his musical education by completing courses such as World Rhythms, Jazz, Funk/R&B, Studio Session, and Rock/Pop in which he graduated all courses of study at the Sam Ash Music Institute.  After his career with China White, Paul continued his study and went on to become one of the top instructors at Sam Ash Music Institute and the Groove Academy, while also becoming a studio musician, and session player for many local and national artists. Paul also helped launch the online drum lessons with Pat Petrillo through Drum Studio Live.  When Cappella Drumstick Company was sold off, Paul sought a new company to work with and became an endorsee of the Vic Firth Drumstick Company and part of the Vic Firth Education team.   In 2013, Paul also signed on with Soultone Cymbals as an Artisit Enorsee.  Paul is working on a drum instructional book and video at the monment entitled Basics to Creativity with clinics to follow.  He is also working on another album the Random Hubiak band, The Peter Irwin Band, John DePalma and singer/songwriter Gina Leigh.  He is also an instructor at Music University in Freehold, NJ
